EIR (Entrepreneur in Residence: Visiting Entrepreneur)

Job Description As a member of the second phase of our Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) program, "EIR-iCAP," you will be responsible for the practical aspects of investing in and nurturing startups that utilize the research results of national universities, while aiming to start your own startup and become independent. Based on your experience and interests, you will develop a business theme, formulate a business plan with the support of the Kyoto University Group, and start your own business. After starting your own business, we will support you in your activities as a business manager.

A series of duties related to investment execution
Formation of investment projects, including start-up support
Evaluating and executing investment projects
Hands-on support for portfolio company development
Investment recovery (IPO and M&A support)
Qualifications, etc. Those who are enthusiastic about creating businesses utilizing the research results of national universities.
A team player who likes to work in a team environment and has a cheerful and pleasant personality.
employment status Contract employee (1-year contract, extended up to 1 year, no probationary period)

Flextime system (standard working hours: 8 hours per day, core hours: 11:00-15:00)

Vacations (Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, anniversary of the company's founding, and summer holidays), annual paid vacations
salary Around 500,000 yen/month (determined in accordance with the Company's regulations, taking into consideration ability, experience, and age)

Job Description As a member of our Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) program, "ECC-iCAP Special Member", you will conduct preparatory activities to start a start-up business utilizing the research results of a national university. With the support of our HR staff and capitalists, you will search for a business theme based on your own experience and interests, and engage in dialogue with faculty members and formulate a business plan.

A series of tasks related to preparation for starting a business
・Searching for research results with a focus on Kyoto University
Discussion on social implementation of research results through dialogue with faculty members
Identification of industry needs and development of business plans
