Recognition of the "60th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and Singapore

InnoVision2026" (https://www.kyoto-unicap.co.jp/inno-vision2026/), to be held in Singapore on January 26-27, organized by Kyoto University Innovation Capital Corporation and Kyoto University, has been recognized as a "Japan-Japan The event has been recognized as a "Commemorative Project for the 60th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and Singapore.

InnoVision is held annually in January in Singapore, and this is the third time it has been held. In total, more than 30 startups have visited Singapore, and more than 180 meetings have been held, with 4 business partnerships realized.

The scale of this year's event has been greatly expanded to include more than 20 university-launched startups and pre-startup projects from all over Japan, including those from universities other than Kyoto University. In this regard, InnoVision was judged to contribute to the promotion of exchange and mutual understanding between Japan and Singapore, and was therefore recognized as a commemorative project.

About Kyoto University Innovation Capital , Co. Ltd. (Kyoto iCAP):
As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kyoto University, Kyoto iCAP invests in and provides other business support to companies that utilize research results generated at Kyoto University and other national universities. The Company currently manages the Innovation Kyoto 2016 Investment Limited Partnership ("KYOTO-iCAP No. 1 Fund") (established in January 2016) with a total value of 16 billion yen and the KYOTO-iCAP No. 2 Fund (established in January 2021) with a total value of 18.1 billion yen. The KYOTO-iCAP No. 1 Fund has a maturity of up to 20 years, and the KYOTO-iCAP No. 2 Fund has a maturity of up to 17 years, making it possible to provide long-term support for the practical application of research results from Kyoto University, which has strengths in basic research. The KYOTO-iCAP2 Fund has a maximum maturity of 17 years. In addition, KYOTO-iCAP No. 2 Fund will invest a portion of the funds in ventures originating from national universities other than Kyoto University.
